More than interaction between agencies, leniency agreements require respect for the agreement made by the State.
This is the issue addressed in the article written by Sebastião Tojal and Igor Tamasauskas, published on Wednesday (05) in the newspaper O Globo.
According to the authors, “compliance with the agreement, the use of evidence by agencies that did not take part directly in the agreement and the role of the Courts of Auditors, to name three examples, have raised some concerns”, which requires continuous efforts to allow for greater legal certainty in the conclusion of the leniency.
